At SPORTIME Pickleball, we’re proud to rally behind the Susan G. Komen Pickleball for the Cure initiative. Last year, we joined the movement a little late—but we still hosted incredible events filled with energy, fun, and community spirit. This year, we’re coming back even stronger with more events at more locations in Westchester and New Jersey.

Pickleball is about connection, laughter, and great competition—and this October, we’re turning the game into a powerful way to fight breast cancer. Together, we celebrate life on the court while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

• October 17 – SPORTIME Pickleball Westbury, NY – Pickle in Pink Open Play
• October 18 – NEW SPORTIME Pickleball Yorktown, NY – Pickle in Pink Open Play
• October 18 – SPORTIME Schenectady, NY – Pickle in Pink Up/Down Games
• October 19 – SPORTIME Pickleball Westbury, NY – Smash Out Breast Cancer Queen/King of the Court
• October 25 – SPORTIME Schenectady, NY – Pickle in Pink Happy Hour Open Play
• October 25 – SPORTIME Pickleball Wayne, NJ – Spook and Smash Social Open Play

You don't have to Pickle in Pink but you do need to be ready for fun!
Every serve, rally, and smash on the pickleball court is a step toward supporting breast cancer awareness and funding research through the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, these events are open to everyone who wants to make a difference while having fun.

Dear SPORTIME Schenectady Members, Players and Families:

I am writing to share an important leadership update at SPORTIME Schenectady. After nearly 14 years at SPORTIME, including seven years as General Manager, Sarah Sharpe is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. We thank her for her many years of loyal service, and wish her the best of luck with her next chapter. We know that she won’t be a stranger!

We are very excited to welcome Robert Coleman as our new General Manager. He will start on Monday, September 8th. Robert’s extensive background in recreation, athletics and facility management includes his most recent position as Director of Athletics and Recreation at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Robert will bring experience, vision and energy to his new role at SPORTIME, and we have no doubt that SPORTIME Schenectady will be in great hands going forward.

During the brief period prior to Robert’s start-date, SPORTIME Managing Director, Carlos Campo, will be providing day-to-day oversight of SPORTIME Schenectady, and can be reached at ccampo@sportimeny.com, if you have any questions or need assistance.

We are also pleased to announce that Lauren Almy has been promoted to Assistant General Manager of SPORTIME Schenectady! Lauren succeeds Nico Caprara, who recently stepped down from the AGM position. We are grateful to Nico for his many contributions, and appreciate that he will remain with SPORTIME in a part-time capacity.
