SPORTIME Capital Region, Formerly SPORTIME Schenectady

Located in the heart of NY’s Capital Region, this SPORTIME club, which recently received a $5+ million, top to bottom, renovation, features six indoor hard-surface tennis courts, eight outdoor Har-Tru, soft-surface, tennis courts, a 12,500 square foot turf field enclosed, year-round, in a climate controlled air-structure, a fully-equipped fitness center offering the latest in cardio, strength training and functional equipment, four indoor hybrid pickleball courts, our Eager Explorers preschool/daycare center, and a great indoor/outdoor summer multi-sport camp facility, including an outdoor pool. SPORTIME Capital Region, formerly SPORTIME Schenectady, also offers a well-stocked pro shop, modern locker rooms, and multiple lobby and lounge spaces that make it easy to relax after play and to spectate and socialize in comfort.

Open 365 days a year, the club offers SPORTIME’s proprietary group instructional and competitive tennis and pickleball programs, as well as summer and school-break tennis and pickleball camps, for juniors and adults of all ages and levels, provided by our world-class team of directors and coaches. Our fully equipped fitness center provides members a supportive environment in which to achieve their fitness goals, whether on their own, by participating in group exercise classes, or with the assistance of our team of certified personal trainers.

Our turf field serves as a regional hub for team practices, tournaments and turf sports events, including soccer, lacrosse, flag football, ultimate frisbee and more - so many opportunities for the entire family to learn, play, train and compete!

Our Preschool/Daycare, licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), serves children ages 3 to 5, with a focus on age-appropriate play, learning, development and FUN. Our small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios allow individual needs to be met within the classroom setting. Our Eager Explorers curriculum is age-based and comprehensive, with the goal that all students love coming to “school” and are ready for their next steps as members of future learning communities.

Our summer tennis camp and our multi-sport summer day camp offer hundreds of campers, preschool through high school, an active, fun-filled experience that they will treasure for the rest of their lives. Our program is supervised by experienced, qualified, coaches and counselors, with the safest, most attractive facilities in the Capital Region.

Non-members can participate in certain activities at SPORTIME Capital Region including camps, daycare, some introductory programs, court-time rental at non-discounted rates and turf rentals.
