Andrew Teixeira

Andrew Gustavo Teixeira, originally from Sau Paulo, Brazil, first held a racket at the age of six. As a junior, Andrew was highly ranked in his home country, where he won four Brazilian National Championships in both the under-16s and under-18s divisions. Andrew moved stateside to play college tennis for Saint Francis University, where he won the Newcomer of the Year Award, as well as the Team Scholarship Award, in his 2020-2021 season. Always a steady competitor, he played #2 through #4 all four years and was an ITA scholar for two of them. Andrew went on to teach at private clubs across the country before joining SPORTIME in 2023.
