SPORTIME Port Washington is celebrating the facility's storied past, while executing a bold, new vision for the future. The former Port Washington Tennis Academy, once the training ground for local legends like John and Patrick McEnroe, and many other American tennis greats, has been managed by SPORTIME since 2022, becoming SPORTIME Port Washington in September, 2023. In 2023-2024, the club underwent an $8.5 million renovation. It is now the largest indoor tennis and pickleball club on Long Island. Updates included the addition of hard surface tennis courts, the addition of 12 pickleball courts in their own, dedicated building, the complete refinishing of the entire facility, inside and out, including air-conditioning, lighting, bathrooms and locker rooms, pro-shop, lobbies and lounges, and more. Every detail of the facility has been re-designed to assure a world-class experience.

SPORTIME Port Washington joins SPORTIME Syosset to provide Long Island’s two John McEnroe Tennis Academy (JMTA) locations. At Port, JMTA students train on 13 oversized, indoor, hard and soft surface tennis courts. JMTA coaching is provided by an international staff of highly skilled professionals, who are also available to work with adult players.

Our dedicated pickleball center sets SPORTIME Port Washington apart as a trailblazer for the USA’s fastest growing sport, here on Long Island. Featuring 12, oversized, tournament-quality courts, our bespoke pickleball space offers a superior playing experience. From expertly run clinics and lively social and level-rated open-play sessions, to leagues and tournaments for all levels up to pro, SPORTIME Port Washington is at the forefront of the Long Island pickleball community, attracting players from across the region who want to be part of the action.

"Huge facility with nicely lit up about a dozen clay and hard courts for tennis as well as about a dozen dedicated courts for pickleball. Snacks, beverages and pro shop as well."

"I rediscovered this facility about a year ago as I got drawn into playing Pickleball more and more. This is a great place to play and meet like minded players. 12 dedicated new courts, pro shop, indoor track, bathrooms and lounge area. This place is kept spotless! The staff is great and they have programs to suit all levels throughout the week. Here at least 3 Xs a week. Book a court or go to a scheduled open play, it's a ton of fun. Oh, they do offer clay and hard courts and a golf sim too!"
