Thais Mendez

Thais (Tati), originally from Viña del Mar, Chile, excelled as a junior player, achieving a career-high ranking of #439 while competing in ITF events. Beginning in 2017, she attended West Liberty University, before transferring to Indiana University East the following year. In 2018, she was awarded the Venus Williams Scholarship and was named Newcomer of the Year, Player of the Year, Champion of Character, and First Team All-Conference. Throughout her college career, Tati was ranked in the top-10 nationally in NAIA singles. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana University East and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, where she also played on the women’s tennis team. Tati joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team in 2022.
