Martins Abamu
Martins, originally from Lagos, Nigeria, began playing tennis at the age of three. He attended Seward County Community College, where he played on the men’s tennis team, and was named second-team All-American after leading the team to its first national championship in 2022. He earned an associate’s degree in liberal arts from SCCC before transferring to Lubbock Christian University in Texas, where he also played on the men’s tennis team. He led his team to back-to-back Regional Championships in 2022 and 2023, and was recognized as the Sportsmanship Player of the Year in the Lone Star Conference. Martins earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and sports management from LCU, and joined the SPORTIME team in May 2024.
