Adel-Byanu Abidullina
Adel-Baynu, originally from Moscow, Russia, was raised in the Czech Republic and began playing tennis at the age of seven. Beginning in 2018, she attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where she played on the women’s tennis team for four seasons. She was a three-time ITA All-American, achieved career-high national rankings of #2 in both singles and doubles, and was twice named MIAA Player of the Year. Adel-Baynu earned bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and forensic science digital from UCO in 2022. She continued her collegiate career at the University of Delaware, where she helped the program qualify for its first-ever NCAA Division I Doubles Championship, achieved a career-high national doubles ranking of #3, and was part of the first doubles team in program history to win a regional championship. Adel-Baynu earned a master’s degree in public policy analysis from UD in 2023. Following her playing career, she was an Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of Kansas. Adel-Baynu joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team in 2025.
