Andrew Wegman
Andy, a native of Western NY, earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in athletic training from the University at Buffalo. He is a licensed NYS Certified Athletic Trainer specializing in injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance training. Prior to joining SPORTIME/JMTA, Andy worked in private training facilities in NYC, and with local high school and college athletes. He has also worked with athletes in the USA Olympic Wrestling and Track & Field Programs as a volunteer. Andy was an Associate Director of Athletic Performance at SPORTIME/JMTA from 2015 to 2021, and rejoined the SPORTIME/JMTA team in that same role, after a brief hiatus, in 2023.
