SPORTIME Randall's Island features:
- Over 250,000 square feet of tennis courts, pickleball courts and support facilities
- 29 tennis courts: 15 Laykold hard tennis courts and 14 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, 7 of which are sub-irrigated, "Hydro-Q Courts"
- 10 indoor hard tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts housed in two state-of-the-art, permanent, conditioned buildings 5-court and 6-court
- 7 of the clay courts housed in a new, year-round, conditioned air-structure
- 5 hard tennis court housed in an air-structure during the indoor season, and outdoors during the outdoor season
- The remaining 7 Har-Tru Hydro-Q Courts housed in a new air-structure during the indoor season, and available for outdoor play during the outdoor season
- All 12 courts that outdoors during the outdoor season are lighted for evening play
- Multiple athletic training space

Update on Pickleball at SPORTIME Randall’s Island
Dear SPORTIME Randall’s Island Members and Associates:
We are writing to share an update regarding pickleball at SPORTIME Randall’s Island. While Pickleball was not part of our original expansion plan, as the excitement and energy for the sport spread across the country and New York City, we were inspired to bring it the club in the hopes that a substantial group of pickleball players would make our state-of-the-art facility their place to play, learn and connect with one another. However, we have closely monitored participation and court usage, and while interest remains strong among a dedicated group of players, overall demand has not reached the level of participation needed to sustainably support offering pickleball at SPORTIME Randall’s island.
Accordingly, while SPORTIME’s overall commitment to pickleball has not wavered - we currently operate 142 indoor and outdoor pickleball courts with more to come - we have made the difficult decision to transition away from pickleball at SPORTIME Randall’s Island. No changes will take place before January 4, 2026, and potentially a few weeks thereafter, and pickleball court rentals and programming will continue until then. We will keep you posted, and in the coming days we will share an announcement about our plans for the current pickleball space.
Again, this change applies only to pickleball at our Randall’s Island location. Pickleball continues to thrive at other SPORTIME clubs, including Englewood, Wayne, Westbury, Port Washington, Lake Isle, Harbor Island and Armonk (opening in 2026), all of which welcome Randall’s Island members. Your membership is valid at these locations and at any other SPORTIME Pickleball facility, so no action is needed to continue playing.

SPORTIME Randall's Island October 2025 Member Updates
The 2025-2026 Indoor Season at SPORTIME has begun! This fall, with the opening of new SPORTIME clubs in Wayne, New Jersey, Yorktown, NY and, coming soon, Armonk, NY, SPORTIME will have over 325 tennis, pickleball and padel courts under management. If you have not yet finalized your plans for the indoor season, or if you know that you want to play and learn more, do not hesitate to reach out and we will try and make your tennis and pickleball dreams a reality.
