Welcome to Eager Explorers at SPORTIME

We are glad you’re here! We are a small daycare, licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), located within SPORTIME Capital Region, formerly SPORTIME Schenectady, a family-oriented tennis and sports club. Eager Explorers caters to early education-aged children, specializing in their age-appropriate play, learning, development, and fun. This is our core focus and area of expertise. Our small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios allow for individual needs to be met within the classroom setting. Our goal is to get your kids to love coming to “school”, and to be ready for their next steps in their educational journeys.

Voyagers & Explorers (Ages 3–4) 
Our preschool program is broken up into two classrooms in order to provide our earliest learners with small class sizes that allow us to best meet their developmental needs. We build foundational skills through play, routine and hands-on exploration- all while encouraging curiosity, independence and more.

Adventurers (Ages 4–5)
In our Adventurers room, children prepare for kindergarten with a strong focus on literacy, math, problem-solving, and self-regulation. We emphasize school readiness through engaging projects, structure, and confidence-building.

Pioneers (Kindergarten- Fifth Grade) 
The Pioneers program will support school-age children with before- and after-school care. We’ll offer homework help, supervised play, enrichment activities, and optional add-ons like tennis.
