Emilija Kojcic

Emilija, originally from Pancevo, Serbia, began playing tennis at the age of six. She achieved a career-high national ranking of #1 in the U14 division in her home country, and was a member of the Serbian National U14 Team. Emilija won titles in U12, U14 and U16 Serbian National Master events, and was the runner-up at the Serbian National Championship in 2018. Beginning in 2020, Emilija attended Marquette University, and played on the women’s tennis team for all four years. She was named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team during her freshman through junior years, and, as a junior, she was named the team’s Most Valuable Player and earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors. As a senior, Emilija again received the team’s Most Valuable Player Award and was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from MU in 2024, and joined the SPORTIME/JMTA team in 2025.
