Michael Kossoff
Regional Director, JMTA Long Island and Director of Tennis
Mike, a Long Island native, began playing tennis at the age of five, and was a top-ranked junior in the Eastern Tennis Association. Mike attended Bowling Green State University, where he captained the men's tennis team to two Mid-American Conference Championships in 2000 and 2002, and finished with the second most wins in school history. After earning a bachelor’s degree in communications, Mike joined the SPORTIME team in 2002, and gained recognition as a premier junior coach, developing numerous nationally ranked players. He earned a master’s degree in kinesiology from Adelphi University while competing and coaching at ITF tournaments worldwide. In 2012, Mike was named Director of JMTA’s first Long Island location at SPORTIME Syosset. In 2023, following the launch of JMTA's newest site at SPORTIME Port Washington, he was promoted to Regional Director of JMTA Long Island.
