Ivan Mardones

Ivan, originally from Merida, Venezuela, played competitive tennis as a junior. Beginning in 2003, he attended Union College, where he played on the men’s tennis team for all four years, leading the team to the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championships in 2007. The team also won the NAIA Region XII Championship, and qualified for the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Tournament that same year. Ivan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UC in 2007 and a master’s degree in education from UC in 2008. Ivan has over a decade of experience coaching players of all ages and levels, and joined the SPORTIME team in 2017.
